God Is Watching My Movie

In the stretch of billion stars in heaven,
In the horizon where clouds are all over,
where the sun cannot cast its immortal rays.
The eyes of the Lord stretches even to the deepest part of my soul.

All throughout the days I spend generously,
all throughout the night I play with my dreams,
God is there watching me untiringly.

In the core of my heart that sometimes cry out with sorrow

and in my flattering emotion often drown with joy,

In the the nerves of my brain and in my wavering mind,
God is there dwelling in tenderly.

In my continued pursuit for happiness,
In my unceasing cry because of loneliness.
God is watching me lovingly.

God is watching my movie!

In the pain of my heart, he cries.
In the weariness of my broken soul, he sobs.
In the triumph of my dreams, he giggles
In the straight path where I walk with righteousness, he delights!
In the holes of the sin where I often fall, he weeps.

God is watchìng my movie where I play the most challenging role of life.

I am a Student of my Students

                     “Having a child does not make one a parent”. In such a way,  “having a pupil or a student does not make one a teacher” a dedicated educator should say. It does not follow that you are called to be a” teacher”  because you handle students. You may wonder why. Well, becoming a teacher does not end of getting a bachelor degree in education and having been passed the licensure exam. The crucial tasks begin when you start teaching and coming in every classroom.

                      When I was a new teacher, I taught high school students. All I knew about teaching then was to prepare lesson plans and give a student a passing or a failing mark. I didn’t realize that teaching does not end only there. My administrator always reminded me that teaching is shaping the holistic being of a child. You may have realized your objectives for that day but the very striking questions that she would throw me,……..Did your students learn from you? Did they become better persons every time you were there as a teacher? Though I did not understand what she was talking about, yet those questions continuously engulfing into my conscience that little by little it made me opened my eyes as I went on my teaching.

                      It was until I had given a chance to teach in the primary or elementary grade that I realized how important it is to be a teacher. Especially that I am teaching grade one students. Your values as a teacher are really crucial in the lives of every student. I am so watchful of my behavior in such a way I must show the good points and values in order for these little pupils to emulate. The way you behave as a teacher may play a great role in making or breaking the values of the students. Many would say it is easy to handle them because they are still young. But, nothing is more dangerous than leading these young students to a breaking situation that they may grow into a person with less sensitivity and values for others and for themselves. That is one thing I must not allow to happen because if I would be the cause of their breaking and influencing them to be an undesirable citizen then I should leave the most delicate profession in life- TEACHING.

When the road of life seems to be thorny and rough,

When the darkness of the path seems to be endless and tough,

When love ones and friends seem to be ungrateful and unkind,

When their hearts seem to be uncaring and their notions seem to be

misunderstanding yours,

When the shadow of hope and the blanket of weariness abound,

When the drop of happiness seems to be pouring the lake of loneliness,

When the grief of tears seems to be shedding with hopelessness,

When the deafening and outburst of your weeping seem to be unheard,

When the deepest part of heart seems to be pierced with the knife of ridicule

and punctured by unfair judgment and unsoothing words,

Don’t you ever lose the fight!

When everybody is out there yet nobody seems to be there for you,

When you need someone to lean on yet a couch of stones and a slippery wall of uncertainty

seem to be offered to you,

Don’t damn yourself and lose the fight!

God says, “Hang on my child to the thread of hope!’

“I am the light to your winding road,

I am your Mighty Protector,

I am your FOREVER bliss,

I am your SOMEBODY standing by!”

Was my cry of loneliness,

To Cherish Hope was the moment

When my tears had to heavily fall.

Melancholy and deep sorrow ‘til now befall.

CHERISH HOPE!'

Slashed through the throbbing part of my soul!

To Cherish Hope had always been

My mother's faithful prayer,

To grant her a baby girl was the constant beseech

To our heavenly Almighty Father.

On the 2nd day of September

Marked the moment to Cherish our Hope!

When Cherish Hope was born

Out of my mother’s faith and hope!

To Cherish Hope had all my mother's care,

Bringing her a sweet day, a gift of happiness all day!

                       Just enough to surmount emptiness and care  

Just a wonderful smile of her only loving daughter

Troubles in her heart flew away!

Everything was for Cherish Hope,

Each day was her new day that she often coped!

To Cherish Hope's smiles and laughter ceased by time,

A time to leave her life and gave it back to our Father's hand.

Such a deep weeping my Mother had to shed!

In her lonely heart she had to hurtfully admit,

That her prayer-granted gift who is my sister,

In a short span of time, Cherish Hope was laid to rest!

On the mourning day of January 28,

You had to breathe your last,

Never you escaped from death,

Our heavy hearts begin to blast!

We could never see you again.

Your heartwarming presence shall never be felt again.

Yet, we cherish the hope to meet you once more!

We cherish the hope of embracing you ever more!

We cherish the hope of longing to behold your smile!

To our Father's land, ....... In heaven!

Soon that momentous day shall ever come!

I Touch The hand Of The Lord!

There comes the blow of the wind of trials pressing hard,

As though the ball of life is tossed heavily and going bad,

In the midst of my travel to nowhere,

Even though the broken pieces of my heart seemed thrown elsewhere,

Lord's untiring hands drawn me and made His presence always conquer!

When I Journey alone and try my own way,

When my quest for blissful life seems His out of my way,

Although I cling to my own hopes,

and to my earnest prayer to Him I didn't cope,

His faithful hands never waver and never say nope.

To my long-bearing grief and to my deep sadness has always been my trip,

However I submitted myself to inequities,

Think-Before-You-Click Campaign or TBYC Campaign

                There is a saying “The pen is mightier than the sword.”Nowadays, that saying can be considered a history for those who fought using pen in seeking freedom against the perpetrators without shedding blood. Moreover, in today’s modern era, we shall appropriately use the saying “The keyboard and mouse are mightier than the pen,” instead. 

           The clinging of human hood to the world wide web or the Internet has greatly influence his life. We could say that the making and breaking of ones life can be done through the Internet now.

Needless to say, that mouse and keyboard are the weapons that can give life or even devastate it. The word “click” in the Internet like in the social network sites such as facebook, twitter, friendster and the like, embodies a lot of meaning. Clicking can mean sharing of links or body of knowledge to anyone else, adding someone as part of list of your friends, deleting him or her in your lists otherwise, acknowledging, etc. 

                      The most dangerous part of “clicking” of “click” is when the user clicks for destroying ones or bullying a certain entity in the world of internet.

On the other hand, there is what we call TBYC Advocacy drive that reminds the user of WWW to be more responsible and respectful. TBYC simply means Think Before You Click.

Think before you click when using the internet. Remember, a simple word or simple sharing of picture can be killing someone’s life. Simple clicking can make others life misery. Furthermore, I personally saw this TBYC-advocacy in a certain television network that reminded the viewers to screen themselves in what they are clicking in the internet. Thus, simple clicking means a powerful potion to somebody else’s life. 

                      I hope we shall TBYC ourselves or simply share TBYC to our friends, educating them to be more responsible user and to the youth’s of today who make up the most of the world’s population, nurture in them the right values including proper handling of the internet.

After all, at the end of day, the kind of words you utter or something you put into the internet will tell the kind of person that you are. It is not what we have achieved in life but what kind of person have you become to others. If they say today, “The mouse and keyboard are mightier than the sword,” you shall say as well “Your good values is mightier than anything in this world,” so, think before you click.

At times when my seeking for joy is like an endless counting of stars in heaven,
